Shift Your Mindset With This One Concept
We can usually have those bad moments at the beginning of the day which can feel that spoil the rest of the day.
Like:
“Everything seems to be going wrong today.”
“I’ve had one of those days.”
“It feels like the universe is against me today.”
The actions we do can influence how we affect ourselves, others around us, our present and future.
It can shift and change the trajectory of your life.
Making the situations control us rather than taking control of what has happened to us, shifts that form of accountability to someone else to deal with.
Ultimately, the root of the problem may be ourselves.
Take the example of finding yourself that you don’t have enough time in the day to do the tasks you want to do.
People can direct that responsibility of there not being enough time in the day or make other excuses.
However, if you were to reflect and observe your reality, you see that you probably spend too much time going on social media rather than spending your time being productive.
Taking responsibility for the actions that you have control over and taking accountability, will make you think twice before doing that action again.
Another inspiring example of someone who was in a challenging environment but was able to make the best of it is Richard Williams, who was the father of Serena and Venus Williams.
Despite bringing their children up in a difficult environment like Compton while having little financial resources.
Were able to contribute to making their daughters two of the greatest tennis players in the world.
And that was through a 78-page plan.
Taking control over your life by taking the actions you know you should be doing can shift the way you live life.
Many people say they are bad at maths, not good at reading and not smart enough.
It is as if people are describing their lack of ability to be good at the action because they are like that.
Being accountable and realising that you can get better by working on yourself can resolve some of the issues you are facing.
Challenge that self-limiting belief and focus on continuous learning to overcome obstacles.
That’s all from me today, but remember taking control of the situations that you have control over can cultivate an environment to become the best version of yourself.
