One Inspiring Idea Worth Learning From

Don’t let your idea be a evaporating thought, but a inspiring moment to change your trajectory in life.

An idea is all it takes.

An inspiration that comes through experience, reading or even a sudden epiphany.

Throughout our days, it is thought that we may potentially generate 6,000 thoughts per day in a healthy young adult.

Even though it is an estimation, it truly makes us think about beneficial thoughts that we could do good with.

We often have thoughts about personal change.

Whether that be:

I should stop watching too many YouTube Videos

I should start focusing now

I need to stop going on my phone regularly

These are thoughts that regularly come through our mind when we strive for self-improvement

However, it is crucial to ask ourselves whether we take action on those intentions we set for ourselves.

Consider the other flip side of thoughts — the ones related to ideas, inventions, products, or devices that have the potential to transform lives.

But again these thoughts just like any other can whither away until you put life to it through action.

There are many reasons why they don’t put their creative ideas into action.

People think that to have a large impact that they need to be extremely intelligent, have money or know some people.

I will mention an example of someone who had no money and didn’t know someone people that could put a good word for them but someone who had an idea.

Meet William Kamkwamba, a young Malawian who found himself in a village grappling with severe famine.

Therefore his family had no money to send him to high school.

He looked at his father and the conditions of the field being dry and didn’t want that to be his future.

Seeking knowledge, he frequented the local library, where he stumbled upon a book titled “Using Energy.”

Within those pages, he discovered that windmills could provide irrigation and electricity

William embarked on a quest to build a windmill using materials salvaged from a scrapyard.

It was a game-changer for the community, as it improved their quality of life

He did this when was 14 years old.

This is truly inspiring.

William’s story is a testament to the power of determination, resourcefulness, ingenuity, and perseverance.

It illustrates that impactful change can be brought forth by anyone, irrespective of their background or available resources

By leveraging the resources at his disposal, primarily the library, to gain knowledge and propel his vision forward.

We live in a time when resources are abundantly available, most of them accessible through the internet

However, despite this vast wealth of information, many of us hesitate to make a tangible impact.

William Kamkwamba’s journey inspires us to seize our inspirations and translate them into action.

It serves as a reminder that each one of us possesses the transformative potential to make a positive impact on our communities and the world; we just need to find the will and the way.

That’s all for me today but remember, that a single idea has the power to change the course of our lives and the lives of those around us.

So, let’s harness our passionate ideas, take advantage of our resources and embark on a journey that can make a positive impact.
