Have you ever had a moment when you suddenly see things from a different perspective and it completely changes your understanding?

It’s like those “once you see it, you can’t unsee it” images

Like the Rubin’s Vase illusion.

It’s where he central part of the image can be seen as either a vase or two faces facing each other.

By opening our eyes to different perspectives, It can profoundly impact our behavior and actions, much like witnessing a magic trick.

If you know a magic trick, it will not surprise you because you have a different perspective.

You may be wondering whether there is a term to describe this.

Well, there is.

This phenomenon is commonly known as a paradigm shift.

It occurs when there is a fundamental change in the way people think, perceive, or comprehend a specific concept or theory.

It’s a transformative process that replaces the existing framework with a new and different one.

Take, for example, the advent of the internet.

It completely changed how people learn knowledge rather than going to the library, to store information and communicate with others through email.

It completely transformed how people interact, gather information, and conduct business on a global scale.

Now, let’s discuss the topic of failure and how it can be viewed differently.

Throughout history, many famous individuals have experienced repeated failures before achieving success.

Look at the likes of:

J.K Rowling — who had her manuscript rejected by multiple publishers before given a chance.

Stephen King — Had his own story ‘Carrie’ rejected by many publishers before being picked up and was able to sell millions of copies, in addition a successful film made about it.

Thomas Edison — inventing the practical electric light bulb, but he encountered numerous failures before his breakthrough.

The main point I want to emphasize is that failure should not be seen as a reflection of our capabilities, intelligence, talent, or passion.

Instead, we can consider failure as a stepping stone towards success, bringing us one step closer to our goals.

Let’s imagine the scenario where you had 1,000 pebbles in a bag and for every failure you had, you removed that pebble.

If it was said that you would find success right after emptying that bag.

You would encourage yourself to not be afraid of failure but embrace it

By doing so, we allow ourselves to grow and become the best versions of ourselves.

Having a mindset that is comfortable with failure enables us to learn valuable insights about ourselves and empowers us to achieve whatever we set our minds to.

We should view failure as a learning opportunity rather than a setback.

It would allow you to grow and eventually become the best version of yourself.

Thais all for me today, but remember changing our perspective how we look at things can change our actions and behaviors especially towards failure.
